Galakhov Nikolai Nikolaevich

Nikolai Nikolaevich Galakhov was born May 29, 1928 in the city of Kazan on the Volga river.
In 1953 Nikolai Galakhov graduated from the Repin Institute of Arts in Rudolf Frentz workshop.
He studied of Josef Serebrany, Piotr Belousov, Yuri Neprintsev.

Since 1949 Nikolai Galakhov has participated in Art Exhibitions.
He painted genre paintings, landscapes, etudes done from nature, worked in oils, tempera, and pastel.
Nikolai Galakhov
most famous for his landscapes of middle Volga River and Northern Karelija.
His personal exhibition were in Leningrad (1988) and Saint Petersburg (2010).
Nikolai Galakhov is a member of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists since 1955.
In 1984 Nikolai Galakhov was awarded the honorary title of the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.

Grushko Abram Borisovich
(1918 - 1980)

Abram Borisovich Grushko was born June 6, 1918 in Moscow.
In 1952 Abram Grushko graduated from the Repin Institute of Arts in Boris Ioganson workshop.
He studied of Boris Fogel, Semion Abugov, Lia Ostrova, Genrikh Pavlovsky, Josef Serebrany.

Since 1956 Abram Grushko has participated in Art Exhibitions.
He painted landscapes, genre scenes, sketches from the life.
His personal exhibition was in Leningrad in 1990.
Abram Grushko was a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1961.
Abram Borisovich Grushko died in Leningrad in 1980.
Paintings by Abram GRUSHKO reside in Art museums and private collections in the Russia, France, Japan, Israel, in the U.S., and others.
