Frentz Rudolf Rudolfovich
(1888 - 1956)
Was born 23 July 1888 in Marienburg, near St. - Petersburg.
In 1918 Rudolf Frentz graduated from Higher Art School at the
Academy of Arts in St.-Petersburg.
Pupil of Vasily Savinsky and Nikolai Samokish.
Since 1922 he has participated in Art Exhibitions.
Member of LCRAU since 1932.
Professor of painting in Ilya Repin Institute (1939-1956) and
Vera Mukhina Institute (1949-1956) , a Head of Battle-Painting Workshop
in Ilya Repin Institute since 1934.
Painted a battle scenes, genre scenes and historical paintings,
portraits and cityscapes. Master of poster and animal genre.
Personal exhibitions in Leningrad (1928) and St. - Petersburg
(2006).

Was born 26 September 1924 in Baklanka village, Vologda
Region.
In 1952 Sergei Frolov graduated from Vera
Mukhina Institute in Alexander Kazantsev workshop.
Pupil of Piotr Buchkin, Alexander Lubimov, Konstantin Belokurov, Ivan
Stepashkin.
Since 1952 he has participated in Art Exhibitions.
Member of LCRAU since 1956.
Painted a landscapes, portraits, genre scenes
and subject pictures. Worked in water-colours painting.
