Chekalov Vladimir Fedorovich
(1922-1992)
Vladimir Fedorovich Chekalov was born July 6, 1922, in
the village of Novaya-Vyaltsevo, Sologalich county, Kostroma Province.
In 1952 Vladimir Chekalov graduated
from the Repin Institute of Arts in Boris Ioganson workshop.
He studied of Alexander Zaytsev, Boris Fogel, Genrikh Pavlovsky, Lija
Ostrova, Semion Abugov, Mikhail Platunov, Josef Serebriany.
Since 1952 Vladimir Chekalov has participated
in Art Exhibitions.
He painted genre and battle paintings,
portraits, landscapes, etudes done from nature.
Vladimir Chekalov was
a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1953.
Vladimir Fedorovich Chekalov died in Saint Petersburg
in 1992.

1908, in the city of Morshansk, Tambov Province, Russian Empire.
